politicians are not being very competent diplomats when they personally attack trump without cause. (The only thing i can figure, watching their hamfisted attempt to chastize Trump, is that they must think we love them so much they can say a few bad words about someone and that coupled with the infinite respect due them is going to be enough to cancel decades of betrayal and graft.) Can they see the difference between disagreeing with ideas, and personal attacks? hated gringo? isnt that a racial slur? stupid? hmmm. not very high statesmanshiplike.
Thank god Meagen Kelly has a brain. Why aren’t political leaders reminding the people of relationship of the awesome power of the President to it’s responsible use? The Presidency isn’t a bar fight, and It’s not Wops vs Kikes. And don’t tell me Trumps racist too, or first, unless you are going to defend the idea that it’s OK to devolve a conversation to racist attacks, when you dont like the other persons ideas.
The thing that is IMHO going to be a BIG, BIG surprise come Nov. 5th, is that there might be a majority of americans who can be angry at the disregard our southern neighbors have for our laws, (AND WANT TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT), and not hating or even disliking the people who do it. I personally love having all the different people here from around the world. I mean look, with the exception of the First Peoples, we are all in America as descendants of immigrants.
One of the best things i have thought of recently, is the fact that we should all start remembering that. Another great thought that i just had was that we should really right by God now, stop the hating and agitation. I could care less about my personal feelings in the matter.
It doesn’t seem so hard a leap for any of us, to agree that we live in a shitty democracy. , we wouldn’t have these episodes of political earthquake-seizures. Man, is everybody piling on or what? We all know it’s messed up OK? In spite of what it looks like, most of the people in this country agree with most everything you do.
Oh hey, another thing. The LBGT community can get the hell to the back of the line, for equality. We haven’t even stopped the summary killing of black people yet. Who the hell are you guys to bop in with a demand for equality, and get it in a week? Ok, my bad, back to our story…
I fear greatly, that if we pass up this opportunity, come Nov. alot of our victory will be hollower by as much as we did not start by coming together as Americans first. Only the brain dead do not sense the monumental changes coming our way. What we do is going to show the world the fruits of democracy for a hundred years.
Each of us, needs to decide what it means to be an American. We have to. Because if we don’t, if it’s every one for themselves, that’s is nothing but a bunch of guys who drop everything good in their souls when it gets tough. I know about this because i’ve done it. We all do to some degree.. It’s not easy to live in this world.
I feel aliens should start there life here as law abiding citizens, like we do. Later, a persons life may involve illegality, but that’s a whole different game. We have a big sign on our asses that says, “yeah kick us, and don’t worry about the laws too much…”, and we wonder why we get our lunch handed to us?
Bordercrashing is unlawful, and in America, you don’t get to obey just the laws you like. It requires changing the hearts and minds of the people to alter the legal landscape. We aren’t founded of the idea that some people have to obey laws, and others don’t. It’s really not surprising to see so many people unable to understand the law and order landscape.
Given that we have so many ready to overlook the possibility that one of our Presidential candidates may have broken laws, and they couldn’t care less. I’d really like to see you poll clinton supporters, and ask them if they would support penalties for clinton, if she was found guilty by an impartial jury. The question will make our heads blow up, apparently, because an impartial jury cannot be found, and the question, apparently, shouldn’t be asked, according to the great conspiracy theory of the universe. Furthermore, to ignore the issue can be nothing if not a wink to the principle of equal rights AND ACCOUNTABILITY for all. It makes me sad, that there are so many who believe there should be different legal rules and ethical standards, based on how we feel about someone.
