radical terrorism and bears, OH MY!

life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?

Donald, all you need to do to win is stand up and give your law and order speech, and say:

” so the first thing i will do is find out why our the good men and women of law enforcement are dirtied by the perception and practice of racial bias in the performance of their duties.

We need to support our police.  If not for them, we would need to literally walk away from 200 years of history, leaving the rule of law, and returning to the rule of force.  This we will not do.  We have a problem to fix.  If we do not name this for what it is, we will not be able to understand what it is, or how best to solve it.

This monster of our decade will be known eventually, as radical domestic terrorism.  This will never be our legacy.  When a community of any composition lives in fear of death while practicing nothing more offensive than daily life, we can no longer say we live in a free society.  While this may sound extreme,  I believe if anyone lives like this in america, we all do. There is no incremental freedom.  Freedom for some, or many, or even most will not do.

If we are to have any reason to succeed, or any good to come of it, it will be derived from whatever the joined voice of free americans would raise to the heavens.  To abide our people’s wailing should not, and shall not continue.  We must answer the cry of the mothers and fathers, sisters, for them yes, but also for us, for all of us, this path must be our only effort.

Whether by training, trend, or temperament, we will find the error of our ways. In this question of police killings, we cannot choose sides, we must choose the truth.  We must not be afraid of where the journey takes us.  We must intend to create a plan that all can live with safety and respect anywhere in this land.  Police conduct, oversight, training, and termination must be examined.  Communities must be able to meaningfully regulate those forces who wield the power of death in freedoms name.  To do so will mean change not only from the police.  Our communities must adhere to a civil standard.  Each of us must be accountable for his or her actions.  We allow no corruption of freedom.  All must live by the same laws.  This is nothing less than the America we deserve to live in each day, and leave for our children”
