As a child, i LOVED Christmas, but all too fleeting was this sense of …what was it? Oh, yes, i remember, PEACE.

Does anyone else remember it? All the world seemed to flutter down like snowflakes, and many creatures sleeping. The bustle of gifting would slow, and the preparation of gin would begin. The children would wander off, and the adults, well they were adults, so whatever. We’d wander off.

As much as i love this holiday, i have learned to love Memorial Day more. Distant wars in impressionable minds can be formed into exciting, romantic experiences, full of daring, full of victory. The official version of course cannot compare with reality when it comes to horror, and grief.

On one such holiday i felt…powerful enough to ask my father about this most exciting thing.
I had realized that this war, and his experience of it was unique. I suddenly knew that he had served in, and survived a great and terrible thing. I had also, one one of my many forbidden foraging missions, discovered his storage cache of vintage world war photos. His entire experience of the war began on his land fall on DDay in Normandy, as a French translator, war photographer and infantryman, all the long days of horror right up to the last days of the fall of Berlin, and beyond.

There were boxes and boxes stacked in long rows at the back of our garage, ten feet high. The shipping and film development alone, must have been a sizable line item on some war budget in a folder somewhere. The stash was bigger than two of those 50’s Buicks, kings used to buy…

I just started tearing into the tears, sitting for days in warm September sun after school. At first i just made a little hole and started rummaging a bit. Like any good rat, i soon wanted a little more. It occurred to me that they way the boxes were packed made a pretty good fort, so i soon had quarters made inside comfy as i spent hours and hours worming around in the forbidden history of my fathers life. Well the game was soon in disarray. I had looked through more than half of it before i realized that while the boxes were in no order, the film and prints were, ….well HAD been organized painstakingly by “someone”, by date and event.

OOPS. Rat rule number one: “Do not get caught.” (Time to wrap this project up.)
Much later, i waited the next Memorial Day Morning, waited and watched, and as the planets signaled alignment, i cautiously stepped forward intending to ask him, “Daddy, what did you do in the war?” Approaching him, i opened my mouth, and heard someone quietly say, “Daddy, what did you SEE in the war?”

I saw and felt the coming shift in slow motion awe. His shoulders sagged a bit, then squared. I watched his head softly turn, his eyes full of tears, full of agitation, full of compassion. He lovingly grabbed both of my shoulders, and drew me in a rare close embrace. I stood for a moment in a swoon of Old Spice and tears. Just as always, he released me too soon, and just as always, i forgave him. He held me at arms length and gave me the slightest shake and squeeze.

“PROMISE ME”, he said. Promise me you will not be content to hate. Promise me you will not serve hate. I stammered an agreement. “Really…”, he said. “You must never hate people, nor hate a people. I saw the Germans. Saw how they suffered. I saw how everyone suffered. I saw it all.“ Then he released me and leaned back. He wiped our eyes, and i threw my arms around his neck. I could never love my daddy more.

We never spoke of it again. The pictures got somewhere. Later i learned he had never looked at any of it again. Just took the shots and sent the film home to get developed. I don’t think he could bear to see all that suffering again.

So i’m listening to bob woodward or whatever his name was on NPR, with his GREAT book titled FEAR, which is a very good title, very true, because Trump scares the shit out of those who worship money instead of success,  those to whom power is amassed and kept at all cost, not to serve, but to insure they will constantly be worshiped and served by the little people. Trump represents a display of intelligence, respect for loyalty, arrogance, irreverence, a refusal to blow political correctness, bravado, bluster and balls, which has made him the most loved and hated character in America.

Watching the evil, seditious, joyful traitorous actions, the corruption of process and impotent response to the murder of this man’s trust in America is the most cancerous and sinful disregard for the sacrifices of so many patriots, i have ever had the shame to witness.

That fully half my country would devote their energy to destroying this man, will only be eclipsed by remaining silent if it contributes one atom so that other half  mistakenly, believe helplessly they can only weep and watch it happen.

To Bob Woodhead, not the least of the ludicrous is that you are some so-called non political actor in this coup having an interview in which you laying out the slow motion hope that in the spring, should midterms make it possible, the deep state can start impeachment hearings against the president.

Now, Brother Bob, you  never say this at all, never use the word. but that’s exactly what you are doing.  Setting up the public with just enough doubt to make the  55 million Americans freaking out, look a bit insane.

Hey don’t get me wrong.  Trump started out with such a naive belief in the promise of America he’s had a hell of a time catching up.  It’s like catching the clap, smallpox, TB and polio, just from grabbing the country by it’s pussies.  I think he’s done a really great job of saying what he means and doing hat he says.  I’d flip out too, seeing the pus filled halls of power seething with sack of shit politicians who have smooth talked us out of our republic, our wealth, and our right to exist.

I am greatly disappointed that his great economic revival isn’t to put America on the forefront of developing SUSTAINABLE industries.  I HATE to see us rev up the old exploitive industries which have led us to even need to argue about climate disruption, and i’m pissed that he is so easily led to refute (truthfully) his enemies attacks, without much thought about how to reframe the language and syntax to his advantage.  He brawls like no other, but i would dismiss global warming, and fight like hell to study climate disruption, corporate  ecopoisoning, and things which might no longer arrive when and when they are needed systemwise.  He has so far missed a great opportunity to lead America great again, by recrafting the economy to a sustainable future, instead of merely reigniting the old industrial age, before we have not yet even coped with the destruction it caused.  So don’t get me wrong.  I support Trump 150%, but he deserves 200%.

So here’s the thing about Bob Hardwood.  This supposed great investigative detective who brought down nixon, says talking about all these guys and that, about tactics which everyone is using, and he NEVER includes even once, the possibility that there isn’t anything to hide.  That talking to nuclear superpower competitors is not only innocent, but really damn smart and REQUIRED if we are going to survive.

Moreover, bombing the shit out of all the little fires we ALL have been lighting as proxy resource wars seems to be a plausible strategy, provided the big three all get on the train to minimize the suffering of the innocent.  We also should have been helping people all along, instead of making deals with whichever Osunburn Labia is in power, where we get the oil, or whatever, the people live like chickens.  Funny it didn’t occur to any of the smart politicians they would then blame us, cause well, …we kind of invented it.  At least honed it into a fine edge scimitar.

Everyone knows it’s going to blow up in our faces, and along comes Trump and before his name is dry on the transition invoices, he’s the devil himself, 3 million pussy hats just happen to be already to wear and everything which might let someone live longer has a protest group with signs printed and google results just happen to favor the status quo candidate with no message, and the gall to demand the presidency by group affiliation, even though Crookeds’ only qualification seemed to be marrying into power, like a good housewife, getting a lot of people killed, which to be fair, HAS been an important talent, and protecting Slick willy from banging away the status, money and respect she lost for herself long ago but i know, she was just following orders.

I wonder why you would think you’d think swinging from a rope would be part of Trumps plan.  Ah well, above my pay grade, she obviously knew something we don’t about herself.  Too bad you gotta step on some little people on the way up.  I know the lowest animal part of us has got us here somewhat, but i’d love to see us leave that behind as a go to.

Trumps biggest sins so far so far as i can tell, is that he respects loyalty, family, hard work, a fair deal, winning, (which being the fast learner he is), i insist he  replace with succeeding, and not just America.  Yeah, and he IS hella smart, although slamming Crooked hilltwit was almost beneath him, except the stakes were too high.

He actually is a pretty good politician in some sense, but unfortunately massively changing times, say like oh, running out of food, water, and land mean changing power bases, and fortunes.  This it seems is the big monster in the closet, but it ain’t his closet.  Trouble is, you can solve it, or end up in a war which kills pretty much everyone especially the innocent,  ending up with the same result, only much more suffering.

The elite cabal doesn’t care much about that though, because they won’t be doing the dying, we will.  It’s always been the same story.  We can bleed some now or a lot more later.  Guess what the deplorables want?

That’s why the farmers and manufacturing workers who see their products costing more STILL stand behind Trump, because he is the real “Change you can believe in.”

If you listen to the recording, and read the transcript, there’s a section where Woodhead says:

Actually, it’s a great question for you, supposedly such a great mind, and reporter:

Why haven’t you spent ANY time exploring the possibility that Trump didn’t do anything every head of state must do, which is to know thine enemy, and that which every American president should do, which is to work to make allies from enemies, and defend the nation from threats within and without.  Why can’t this just a really good stable genuis wildly successful businessman taking two years to learn well enough after defeating 15 contenders AT ONCE for the highest office cold right out of the box, and kicking some well, at least 3rd string career political ass.  They were nothing if not competent in lying, cheating, stealing, and most of all getting reelected as well as anything else.

there comes a time when one realizes everything external used to create our worldview is created by someone with a storyline, an theme, an audience, an intention, and certainly a cover charge.

We see ourselves urged to ask whether who we see is man or animal?  The once mighty city of Chicago perhaps now best miniaturized and placed in an emporium is a reminder.  We are reminded day and night that without the protection of the circus tent of police, this danger could touch our lives and families, or worse, we could become it ourselves.

There comes an instant in time, when rather than blindly assume we must ask ourselves are these man or animal, we begin to contemplate:

Who presides over the machinery which makes abortion a logical choice, and parenting an impossibility.  Who maintains the requirement that in the supposed land of plenty, one must perish, that another survive.  Who elevates this to the status of sacrament?  Who censors in the land of the free?  Who denigrates law and order in this home of the brave?  Who enables illegality of every type, who makes sure the desperate and drugged insane always have access to guns, 

Who for decades has maintained the conditions which allow the uneducated, the unproductive, and the animals creed of survival to succeed.  Who profits from this status quo?

This is called woke.

When we cease wonder if it is “a” people, “those” people, or “people” and begin to ask:

 “which people?”

we have begun a journey to refute the lie, shouted into us day and night, that there is no internal man, no eternal man.

To be human is to embrace all.  To be American, is to embrace all who embrace all.

This whole multi billion dollar damn department works 24/7 to make sure of those outcomes.  It is owned and operated by an entity possessing  every quality needed to be called “life”.  This living creature, exhibits mobility, eats, excretes, adapts to its environment, and multiplies.

Yet is is not human.  It lacks any quality remotely related to humanity.  It is devoid of love.

Its connection to people is caloric, not cosmic.  Humans are its food, their life energy its crop.

It is called the deep state, and it is an amorphous body of political, media, military, national, state, local, economic, and social elite actors.

 

To borrow an old tactic, it is not “them” who must change it is “us”.  Where in business, they must fail.  If they worship power, they must lose it.  Everyplace elected, they must be lawfully ejected.  Known by their manner and lifestyle, silently shunned.  They must not in any way thrive through our inaction.

Where they have made law, it must be unmade lawful, by democratic process.  Where the law protects those who declare devotion to sedition, it must be changed.  Where the law removes the peoples rights, the people have the duty to remove those laws, by electing lawmakers.  Where those who would silence free speech, with harm, assault, or illegal machinations of state, should be removed, especially as well those who have taken oaths of impartiality to enforce the law, yet offer every aid and encouragement of leniency.

This is woke.

It cannot be left for someone else to do.  To die as one sleeps can be no small gift.  To sleep throughout ones life is the way of an animal, not a human.

Grasping this choice and refusing to live as an animal is called woke.  It is not which, it is who.
